A Cadillac company is being applauded by Governor Rick Snyder for a recent expansion of its operations that will create 135 new jobs.
Rec Boat Holdings is expanding its operation by introducing two new brands of jet propelled boats.
Roch Lambert is the president of Rec Boat Holdings. He says he's grateful the governor is recognizing his company.
"Like I told the community last week, small companies like us, not that we're very small, but mid-sized companies like us are really a gem for a community because we bring in money that comes from everywhere around the world and inject it into the community," Lambert said.
According to Lambert, a major manufacturer of jet propelled boats recently exited the market, making it a perfect time for Rec Boat Holdings to expand.
